Animator I 3D Artist I VJ
I am a digital artist living in Valencia, California, and attending school at California Institute of the Arts. I am studying for my undergraduate BFA degree in Experimental Animation, which I anticipate to be done with in May 2025.
My passion lies in creating digital art in many mediums. Although I am a filmmaker and animator, I also focus on real-time audiovisual art for shows and concerts, as well as realtime projection for interactive installation and new media art.
I started learning Resolume and doing realtime video work in 2021, and since then have participated and collaborated with artists and musicians to create amazing live experiences.
My approach to live visuals aims at combing both my practice of digital artwork and filmmaking. I combine different mediums of animation, including CG, 2D hand-drawn, stop motion, and direct film techniques such as scratch and paint on film.
I started making digital art in 2018, however, I was a competitive Hip Hop dancer for most my life preceeding that, and competed in competitions such as World of Dance and Verve Collisionz.
I primarily utilize digital 3D platforms, such as Blender and Houdini, to create my 3D content, along with Touchdesigner and Resolume Avenue to supplement and project it. However, I also have skills in 2D hand-drawn animation and stop-motion animation - all of which I utilize to further my practice in filmmaking and realtime video work.
A focus for me lies in abstract 3D sculptural artwork, but I also love exploring new environments and creating worlds that I can explore through both still renders and film.
