3D Assistant: Animator, Designer, Generalist, Yaloo Ji Yeon Lim, Hybrid/In-Person, Valencia, CA (January 2024 - April 2024)
Assisted New Media Artist and CalArts Professor Yaloo Ji Yeon Lim for her solo exhibition in the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art, in Ansan, South Korea. Modeled, animated, and simulated CG assets in HoudiniFX and Blender to use across multiple softwares, including Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, and Blender. Assisted with general 3D technical direction.

3D Animator, Designer, and Protectionist, California Institute of the Arts Halloween Party 2023, Valencia, CA (August 2023 - November 2023)
Pitched, directed, animated, and projected 3D and 2D visuals displayed on a 16ft x 9ft LED screen as part of the CalArts Halloween Party 2023. Worked and collaborated with DJs, lighting designers, actors, and dancers to create an immersive rave experience that more than 800+ people attended.

Animation Teaching Assistant, California State Summer School of the Arts, Valencia, CA (July 2022 - August 2023)

Assisted and worked closely with six teachers and faculty over the course of 4 weeks in the animation department of CSSSA for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Created various lesson plans and handouts, lectured and mentored students, assisted students with art making, organized and moved storage boxes, and aided in technical set up of computer labs and drawing tablets. Teaching Assistant, California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA (September 2023 - December 2023)

Assisted professor Ji Yeon Lim in the CalArts Experimental Animation Program's Intro to CG for EA Fall 2023 class. Helped students one-on-one understand the concepts of learning Blender, as well as lead class lectures and workshops relating to 3D rigging, interface, texturing, and modeling.

Mom’s Student Lounge Administrator, California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA (September 2022 - May 2023)

Worked On-Campus as a student-worker for the student lounge in the Chouinard Dormitory at CalArts. Aided in student check-in for kitchen use and check-out of recreational items. Cleaned, organized, and assured hospitality of space for all students to use.

Ground Crew, Fair Wind Hot Air Balloon Flights, Boulder, CO (2020 - 2022)

Worked as a ground crew operator for Fair Winds, a hot air balloon company. Consistently set up, maintained, chased, and brought down hot air balloons for every summer between 2020 and 2022. Work includes intensive physical labor and quick reactions to intense weather scenarios.

Film Editing Intern, Streetside Productions, Boulder, CO (2017 - 2020)

Worked closely with professional videographers on editing full-length feature film movies. Edited and produced short advertising/promotional videos for local organizations and businesses.

Promotional Video Producer, Intercambio Uniting Communities, Boulder, CO (April 2019 - May 2019)

30+ hours shooting, interviewing, and editing a promotional video for Intercambio Uniting Communities that contributed to raising over $100,00 for their organization.
